How goes it fellas!
I was lurking around the Showme site and discovered a reference to this one. Cool site! A place for Chicagoland enthusiests! Hows it going Tex? I wish I would have found out about the last BBQ bash in time to go. Ah well. I will keep checking for a fall bash of some kind.

My stable is the same with some new bodies:
Savage 25 RTR with a new K4.6, 3 speed tranny, and Proline Razorback ATV body with a Ricky Carmichael Radio shack motorbike driver. Hilarious!

HPI RS4MT with my Novak 5800 installed. It flies! Painted a bug body to look like Herbie!

Old faithful indestructible Stampede, 17t trinity power, Sanyo 3600 cells.

Vintage old school Kyosho 1987 Ultima buggy

ANd now a little Losi Mini-t I got from one of the boaed members for my 3 year old to play with. Has a Trinity motor and oil shocks with firm springs so he can bash it up ggod. He does quite well.

So for the big news, we moved to a larger house a few months back and lo and behold, we will be having a baby in March! We just cant seem to help filling up the house I guess. Now my boy will have a playmate! When it rains it pours!

  Nitro Wanted
Posted by: north_shore_racer - 09-08-2005, 10:11 PM - Forum: Buy / Sell / Trade - Replies (13)

well as it says i would like to acquire a nitro buggy or monster truck. specifically a revo or savage or really and nitro buggy. i have lots of 1:18 stuff and i might be able to get some cash if i sell some of my 1:18 stuff so im looking or summin broken in if possible or a good deal that i would have to break in, but i really want either a savage or a revo or a hopped up buggy. im not really interested in stadium trucks, but if u got one for a reasonable price i might consider. also if u r willing to trade 1:18 stuff or a lower amount of cash then i might take it as a roller but preferrably as a rtr.

  buggy or revo?
Posted by: dirtguy90 - 09-08-2005, 09:12 PM - Forum: Racers Forum - Replies (24)

hey, idk what's goin on with my friend and the buggy thing, but which would be better for a good bashing session thingy...to go off a big ramp and not break too much. im not lookin for too much speed, to much speed prolly isn't good if im new to nitro.

I dont plan to race for...quite a while and i hope to get the truck around christmas time, it not a lil later, thx guyz!! :wavey:

  Wheel Stickers
Posted by: BlackWolf42 - 09-08-2005, 12:06 PM - Forum: Racers Forum - Replies (4)

I've been seeing more and more of these stickers that you put on your dish wheels. They're so you can see wheel spin, etc. For years, I've been RIT dying 1/2 of my dish wheels before I glue them (red dye).

Who makes the stickers and are they any good? I was thinking that they couldn't touch the effect that dying 1/2 of a wheel does. Maybe it's me, but the stickers don't give the same effect. I've never driven a buggy with the stickers, so I may be wrong.
