Need assistance with my Savage Dual tank mod |

Hi all, I have a problem with my dual tank mod. I just installed it so I'm not sure what it is supposed to do specifacally, but I was under the impression that the small tank fills completely mine didn't and it seemed that the engine was using fuel faster than the 2 oz tank could replenish it'self from the main tank. This caused leaning bad. It does not seem like it is feeding enough gas into the small 2oz tank. Any ideas? I have it connected in this fashion (i'll start at the carb and work my way back to main tank):
1. Carb to fuel filter.
2. fuel filter to pickup in 2oz hayes tank.
3. vent on hays 2oz tank to pickup on main tank
4. vent on main tank to pipe.
I'm not sure y this is going on but any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Smokey

Hi, What I got is a almost stock tmaxx thats about 3 months old. Has RPM steering bell cranks w/servo saver, bumper braces?, alluminum bumpers, a roto starter, an extra engine, 2 complete sets of tmaxx tires, 1 set of tmaxx wheels, a few extra drive shafts and tie rods, 2 bodies(both beat) emm I think thats it. I should mention the motor in truck has 1 gallon threw itand runs great lots of power. The other motor is the one that came in it and has close to 2 gal. threw it. I changed it cause I couldnt get it to run like I thought it should. Keep in mind this was my 1st. nitro and the running problem could of been my lack of experiance in tuning. Not much better now but atleast I can keep My Revo Running.he he I thiink 250 is a fair price...Let me know if intrested. some pics. http://www.motoxgamer.com/RC/
thanks for looking Kevin

Mr.Tune, can we get a Sticky on this thread? Thanks
A few tips to make race day more enjoyable.
1. Know your Frequency and transponder number in advance. Occasionally, your frequency may change before a race, because of conflicts. Always check to see if you need to change channels before race time, and be sure to have your frequency clip.
2. Be prepared to Marshall. It’s not the best job at the track, but it has to be done. If you wreck and are out for the night, stick around for the next race, and Marshall. It’s only 5 more minutes.
3. On the Drivers stand, DO NOT LEAN OVER THE RAIL! There are other racers up there trying to see their cars too.
4. When pitting, pull the car/truck from the track. Blocking pit row can cause other people to lose their momentum. You wouldn’t want it to happen to you. In the event that your pit man is also marshalling, make sure he knows to pull your vehicle from the track to refuel, for his safety, and respect for other drivers.
5. Let the faster vehicle pass. Trying to block them from passing is not only rude, but usually results in both of you getting tied up, and crashing.
6. Remember, we are all here to have fun. Accidents do happen, hopefully they aren’t too serious.

Just a bit of hobby shop info.
The owners of the Hobby Town in St Charles just purchased the Hobby Town in Aurora, so the original owners are no longer involved. They will have limited hours until all the inventory is logged and a major clean up is completed.
It still remains to be seen if this is good or bad, but one thing at least the store will be more organized hopefully they will lean more towards RC than Barbies and Kites.

Any advice on Truck choices? |

Hi all,
I have a friend who is trying to decide on a truck to get. He has narrowed the field down to:
1. Associated MGT
2. Losi LST
3. HPI Savage
4. others not listed he should look at?
I have a Savge myself so he gets to drive it so he knows what that is like but none of our friends have either of the 2 other trucks so any pros, cons, experiences would help him a great deal.
He has decided to go for a true truck and not really interested in truggies so much but I'm sure he would like to hear any advice or experiences you guys might have with those too.
A mutual friend of ours has a Revo and while he likes that tuck I think he's a bit sour on the Traxxas brand because he has a T-Maxx that has almost been a hobby-killer for him. with all the problems with it and the fact that you have to replace everything with hop-ups just to bash it without breaking let alone any kind of racing.
You guys gotta great site and I really have gotten allot of good info from here so I trust you guys and gals opinions and thanks in advance.
