Hello all,

I am looking to purchase a new 1/8th scale for next year just wondering what you all have or want to have. I had a Ofna 9.5 MBX. Looking to get an xray xb8 or a kanai or a 777sp1

Hill Climb (huge rocky, dirt hill, no grass here)
Posted by: Tex - 11-02-2004, 02:19 PM - Forum: Bashers Forum - Replies (14)

Who wants to do a Hill climb in Woodridge. I did it last year and I had a blast. It's super big, steep and realistic.

We could race up the hill or just see how far we can get. (I couldn't make it to the top)

Just thought it would be fun to do something different before it gets fridgid outside.

Ever get kicked out of somewhere cause of R/C?
Posted by: bigdangerous - 11-02-2004, 12:25 PM - Forum: Off-Topic - Replies (12)

Mr. Tune, Jack, and I were running our drift cars at a parking garage at the corporate towers at cermak and wolf rd once. Mr associated was there too. Well, we were out there for about 45 mins, and this guy comes out. Didnt really look like security. He just tells us. "hey, you guys really need to leave." So we all agree nicely and start packing up our stuff. Then he feels the need to swing his authority manhood(i guess cause we were polite?) and tell us " and do me a favor, dont come back again. EVER" So i guess we really pissed him off by tearing up the concrete with our pvc tires.

  Servo Question
Posted by: NitroNoob - 11-01-2004, 04:42 PM - Forum: Racers Forum - Replies (10)

Anyone know if you can use a Hi-tec mg645/mg625 servo for throttle/brake. I am trying to find out if I will need any additional parts then those that come with the servo. Since my little accident, I am would like to replace the SF-2 servo that was running my throttle/brake with a higher powered servo.

Any suggestions.

Who's gonna be there this wednesday? Lets get a head count.

I'm fixing the savage tonight after last weeks breakage. Busted the bulkhead pretty bad. Somehow the a-arm and the pin holding it on both survived. Talk about strong a-arms Smile. Got it repaired, hit the track, and 10 minutes later busted another shock. Looks like it's time to take rocco's advice and email integy for their upgraded shafts.

I might make another attempt with the heli if the parts come in. I found out that the blades were way out of balance. That's why I was having rotor pop-off issues.

  How much have you invested?
Posted by: Mr. Tune - 11-01-2004, 01:05 PM - Forum: Off-Topic - Replies (86)

Subject is pretty much self explanitory.

The recent heli purchase and put me over the 2k mark.

In May, I had nothing. Now, 6 months later, I have a truck, 2 on-roads and a heli. Lots of money on mods and parts along the way to.
