Hello all,

Well I was at the first Mt race at LH and it kinda stunk, I think there was 8 trucks there. The second week i think he cancelled it ( not Bernies call). I haven't heard about last Sat. But there are a bunch of us from my club planning on racing Saturday the 20th. So I thought I would put the word out now so anyone that is thinking about comming out, has time to get their trucks together. We should try to get as many as possible, so we can get some good races going on, hopefully some A and B mains. Plus we have to show up if we want them to keep MT racing.

So any Mt owners that want to race should try to make it for a good time.

For those that have not been there for the races he break it up into 2 classes, a stock class and an unlimited Mt . Unlimited is for the truggy type MT anything with an open diff ( SUt, lightning etc)

After the last 2 times at the track and suffering breakage with 10 minutes both times, I think it's time for a full clean and rebuild.

I did a quick inspection of the truck the other day and noticed lots of stuff needing replacing, cleaning, and rebuilding.

Here is what I noticed:

1. The truck no longer rolls very well. After looking around, a few of the drive cups are worn out pretty bad causing binding in the driveline. Seems to run ok under throttle, but make it's very jerky when pushing the truck manually.

2. The integy shocks are junk, as I've already blown 3 shock shafts pretty bad. At least with the stockers I could bend them back after bending the shafts and continue racing. Not with the integy's. Those things simply sieze up. Since half the stock shocks leak oil, they will be rebuilt and thrown back on the truck in place of the integy's. Rocco, if you read this. What was the email address you used to complain to integy in order to get the updated shock shafts?

3. The bearings aren't as smooth as they used to be either. Probably exposed to too much dirt. There's a real nice sonic cleaner at my work. I'm gonna toss those bad boys in there for a few minutes and it should do the trick .

Hopefully when all is said and done the truck will once again race like the raped ape it was a few months back .

Since I can't never login showmerc board ever... I wanted to let you guys know that I'm in for Dec 6.

Is there anybody else around this board that races oval cars?? I have a Associated 10L40 NASCAR oval car and the only tracks I know of are Road Rage in Green Bay and Hobby Town Oshkosh........is there anywhere to run in Northern Illinois?? I made a suggestion at the RSJ boards now that they don't have permanent barriers, but knowone seems to want to run oval there.

today when i got home i started the widetrack suspention swap, and im loving it....there are so many diffrent ways i can set up my suspention....i will take some time to figer out where i want to keep it....ill post pics ASAP.

The title says it all. I'll go first , my all time favorite motor has gotta be my sh .25 (24.7 pro) in my savage. Plenty of power, reliable, tunable, durable and down right cheap. It runs cool, reatarts hot and best of all it hasnt used up a single one way bearing. 2 1/2 gallons and still going strong.

I gotta say though... That sh. 28 that i recently picked aint too shabby ethier!!!!!

Is anyone gonna be out Saturday? If so, What time??????

Anyone know whats going on with the Savage-Central website? I havent been able to get to it for 2 days now. Anyone hear anything?
