I run the Tekno R/C Wing mount. Its direct fit, it just sits a lil lower than the mugen, but i like the look of it. Its only 20 bucks too.

I looked at the tekno one for a while, but I didn't like how it couldn't be adjusted for wing angle.

mugen mbx5 wing mount, wing mount braces, and a proline or mugen wing.

Revo2K said he is giving the modded body mount tower along with the wing setup is my guess as to why it's overpriced

Revo's mount includes the rear body post/mount, and it's already done, and includes that aluminum plate that ties it all together.

The Mugen MBX5 mount is about $25 for all the parts, and a wing is $7-10.

His is used, but fairly priced, IMO.

They just introduced an adjustable one for 25 bucks, very nice design. Check it out on their homepage: www.teknorc.com

FYI for 30 bucks you can get a brand new wing, wing mount, and body tower for 30ish all brand new. thats mugen stuff also. You need just the mount and wing so about 25ish for you.

And then the body mount is like $4 and and the aluminum plate I bought was $20.

you dont need any aluminum plate. Ive never heard of anybody using one. Just use 4 10 cent washers on each side of the tower and you will have a wing for life.

the plate...the alum plate looks cool. all aluminum parts look cool. they are the coolest stuff, you know. looking cool, it's all about the looking cool, so get alum and look cool.

j/p, aluminum is cool, but looking cool without being cool just isn't cool, you know?

The mbx wing stay is a good choice Smile. It's what I run on mine. It has never broken on me. I've broken the body post, but never the wing stay. Just use patience and mark the holes good before you drill so the wing attaches nice and straight Smile.

As far a wing is concerned, pickup a proline. They last a really long time as they are real flexible. They bend instead of snap Smile.

Mugen wing is very flexy too. Don't even need to boil them. TTR wing cracked even after I boiled it. But was less $$$ to buy. ProLine wing was the highest price, but they have to pay off all those "Team Drivers". sheesh
