Good time today guys, Weather and track were Perfect.

A wet track sure made for a different day considering we have been fighting the dust for a good portion of the season. Had a good time today and the traction was awesome.

Id like to thank Dave Hienze ( sorry for butchering your last name) And who ever else helped ( Dale i know you were there right?) get the track smooth as glass!!!!! That track was so nicely prepared!!! All that rain really made for an interesting change in how r/c's gripped that track!!! Frickin Super dooper traction!!!!

Rocco, I got it's still sealed in the box on the bench. Just got to get it in the truck. Maybe the last race I'll have it broke in, tuned and ready to go.

The way my SUT was hooked today on the crime fighters for the main I'm not sure I need the much power with the 28. My GS mill had enough power for today.

Rocco, good tip on the tires. It was fun to be competative today and finish 2nd with my SUT.

Seriously tho, the little one and I had alot of fun. She told mommy she met alot of new friends as did I, and thats whatits all about. I hope no one minded she (Allison) was there. I thought she was really good. Hope she didnt get in anyones way.

For next time, hopefully ill have a set of tires mounted that wont balloon and a front bumper that doesnt act like a shovel every time I use the brakes. Till then :wavey:

Seriously, I have wondered about this for a while....I know folks duct tape the insides of their tires for ballooning reasons. Has anyone ever tried adding a "belt" like a fiberglass mesh, glued in place? I ask because I own TC tires that are like that from HPI? Just askin'.

Yesterday was awesome! Big thank you to the dirt dawgs and to mother nature for some rain. The traction was crazy! Too bad I broke in the main . Big congrats to rocco. Dude, you were fast yesterday. 1st in monster truck AND truggy.

I guess until an SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) type standard is set none of these HP ratings will mean anything unless all motors are measured the same way and probably on the same piece of equipment.

Remember the day before RMS (Root Mean Square) 20hz-20khz ratings for stereo wattage ratings? There were ridiculous ratings like 1000 watts peak music power. Actually they measured at about 120 watts RMS.

Not to get off track, but I've got a pair of PC speakers on the work computer that say "500 watts" Heh, the speakers are 3 inches. They fail to mention that this rating is PMPO (Peak Monentary Power Output - Hence, the amp will put out 500 watts if the input leg of the transistor is struck with a bolt of lightning, and only until it burns out.) The computer shop I worked for sold hundreds of these units because people wanted 500 watts of ass pounding power...

if you really want a good set of computer speakers definatly pick up these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6836121121. Barely half way turned up and my neighbor next door can hear it from inside his house with his window open lol. Turned up all the way and you can be doing yard work and here the music like its playing right next to you. Not the most powerfull set of speakers but man the sound quality on them and the quality of the music when it is turned all the way up is definatly very very impressive
