Thanks. I guess I'll hook up to the Big Sears Compressor in the garage and paint before winter hits again! My indoor Paasche D compressor only hits 30 psi or so.

Yeah mines got a BIG tank on it with a 2hp motor that's wired for 220v..so it lives in the garage. Works great painting real cars, too.

Wow, Mike. That is a great write up.
A couple questions.
Do you put the templates of the design inside the body and "trace" it or do you just do it freehand?
And is there a specific reason you use the alcohol to remove the sharpie?

I am using a big air compressor in my garage. I think I am going to have to pick up a small one to paint in the winter.

ya i put the templates inside and trace it, I drew them out the first time i did the body on the body first, then traced that onto paper which i saved.
i use alcohol on the body cuz thats the only thing that gets the marker off lol

I wouldnt' be able to draw that without making a mistake on the body.
What I meant to try and ask is that is there a specific reason you take the sharpie off?

ya cuz after i cut the first line it simplifies the design, just like i said it was important to make a fine line the first time, to trace the marker line, now when u do the pinstriping u only have one cut line to look at as opposed to the cut line and the marker line
