The t-rex will pull over 1.9 g's on the skid. There is no way the GT or SRT-4 is touching that... sorry.

There is no way a plate fits in there... maybe one of those short european ones. My buddy has a camaro and has to run his plate in the window...

Shut up tommy... you drove into a wall in a neon... therefore... no talky talky.

I will take John's word on that... anywho... I am looking up stuff on the rex being street legal...

I have found stuff saying that it did well in the accidents because of the roll cage and restraint system. The wide front stance also helped it it says. Some states force you to wear a helmet or glasses since it doesn't have a windshield...

All production cars have to have a Space for front license plates. There are some states that REQUIRE you to have plates installed in the front.

Quote:If your definition of fun includes raw power and a visceral driving experience devoid of frills, you may want to take a drive in the T-Rex by Campagna. A stripped down, muscled up vehicle combining the brutal power-to-weight ratio of a motorcycle with the low center of gravity and wide handling stance of a race car, the T-Rex is a “50 states legal” road car that performs like exotics costing five times as much. It’s unusual, exciting, and offers a driving experience unlike any I have had.

BOOYAH!!!! 50-States legal from fast-cars.net !!!!!!

the 93-97 camaros have horrid plate brackets and the plate is soo out of place. Its actually damn hard to find pics of any f-bodies with the front plates still on.. lol. but they all have them but like I said the first thing 99% of people do it take them off.

here is an LS1 front end stock plate bracket..

Trans Am's have the logo cover that can be removed.

There is nothing wrong with the lights and as long as the exhaust passes emissions and decible levels then there is no problem there either...

DAN you are delusional!!! snake eyes are illegal!! i have a ticket for those to!! as per vehicle code book any added light to a vehicle must be amber in color!! except fog lights!

Oh... gotcha. I thought that was what you meant but were just calling them snake eyes. Yes... those are illegal but they are not on the rex... so what is the problem?? Neon is illegal too... and so is driving around with the gas door open. People still do it.

Allright all right... whatever. There are some nice american cars yea (I was not bashing American cars I am just a fan of imports right now... but not rice) You get a lot of car for the mone of an SRT-4 but IMO it is based off of a poor, outdated chassis and the trans is too weak for the power. I know 2 different owners of SRT-4s. 1 lost 2nd gear and 1 lost 3rd. Honestly if I boost 21 PSI I could run with them as well. Heck when I was chipped to 16 PSI I was running with them. Now I just need to BUY the chip...

(And us 3 are going to get ripped a new one for going off topic. :o: At least it was kind of related... :bustingup )

heck when it comes to OBDII cars as long as there are no codes in the PCM you are legal. lol.. there are guys with f-bodies that have no cats, huge cams, blowers, dumped true duals, no emesions equipment at all that pass with flying colors because the tuner software for the cars have found that you can shut off the emissions codes permemantly.. lol.

but yeah back to the topic.. 5th gen camaro junk.. lol.

Yep! ...My plans for now include a chip, and dump pipe. Then a new Turbo. That should make 300 HP and wouldn't pass emissions if it werent for OBD II. Hehehe...
