if your going to tell people to come here you should make this a sticky and hopefully Mr. Tune can put this on the home page. as for the buggy pick that rcdad did was cool. that would look awsome in the lower left hand corner of the flyer. and you should clear out some of the more unnecessary posts so the info is easier to find or u can just make a new thread, w/e. this look like it will be a good time

It is on the homepage in the news section already .
I will also setup a special temporary homepage when the details are finalized and a flyer has been made to make is as visible as possible to the public. .

That seems reasonable, for any sponsor.

Couple of thoughts on this.
Is there going to be a cut off on how many entries?
With this in mind thinking of the last trophy race I don't want to be there til 2-3am over this on a Monday morning that carried over.
Is there going to be a Pre Reg?
If there is a Pre Reg is there a discount for Registering before a deadline?
I am finding this to be $50 for all three days. I know it is for charity and all but
for early register to make like $40?? to be sure it holds a spot that is non refundable.
What about merchandise about the event?
Tee shirts or sweetshirts with a color graphic on it.
I am sure that shops will discount for charity or donate the wearables but not the graphic.

Biodragon, Thanks for the thoughts.
Anyway, the Cut-off is going to be 200. The Flyer will be on LH website next week after we get the OK from Bernie and he will get it on there for us to Download.
You will be able to Pre-register and you wont have to send money in with the form, but you will pay at the door upon arrival to register your name so we know that you showed up. THERE IS NO DISCOUNT FOR PRE-REGISTERING EARLY. You Pre-reg early and if you dont show up its the charitys loss and yours. All classes are set at $50 per class for 3 days of racing. LH is really helping us out with track time and making everyone happy, they are the major sponsor of this event and it shall be recognized. Bernie always hosts a great program and you'll get your moneys worth.
As of right now, there is no t-shirts or sweatshirts that are going to be handed out or made for this event. But nothing is final. There will be a few T-shirts from companies that you could win and stickers to hand out that has the event name on it and from diferent manufacturers. Not to mention tons of door prizes and raffles, food on saturday, friends, plus 3 DAYS OF RACING. Does this not sound like something you would want to attend? Please try to make it.
Trust me, if you base all events on the little things like t-shirts and what do you get for your money in return, you should not be racing RC cars.
I hope you can all make it, if not, then I'll wish you were all here. This is little by little turning into a National event and we can all make a difference to many by taking part in it.
Thanks,
Joe Torres

Keep in mind, for the Trophy race, Practice, Qualifying and Racing were all done on the same day. For this race, each day will have it's own purpose.

Kewl thanks for clearing some things up.
As for shirts--I was not expecting one but I was thinking of them being made for the event to sell.
So for 200 entries that would be anywhere from 16-22 heats times # of quals.
Qualifing day would be the longest based on 3 quals.

I think the mains would be the longest.
Qualifying would be about 4-5 hours. Half hour A-mains for buggy, truggy, MT, and 1/10 gas truck. Thats 2 1/2 hours just with a-mains.

only a mains are that long. The lower mains will fly by in the same amount of time it takes just for the a-mains so it wont be to bad. Really looking forward to this event.

I am really considering this but it is being there so late on a Sunday is what gets me.
Friday would be practice and I would have to take off from work for that.
I have a 2hr drive back home from LHR and then I get up at 4:30 am on Monday for 1-1/2
drive in.....man this would be brutal 3 days

I know I dont post on here all that much but I will be there for sure, I have never heard of a track really doing something like this but I just wanted to say to all those that are involved in puting it together I feel are doing a great job and I cant wait to race it.

Bio, There will be practice for the guys that cant make Friday Practice ONLY, on saturday morning from 8-9:45am. We start racing at 8-8:30am Sunday Morning. Thats an early start. Are you a regular A-amainer? If not, dont worry all other lower mains will be 7min, so thats 9min total with your warm up so just figure 10min to be on the safe side. You'll be home in no time unless your in the a-main then maybe about 5-6:00 it should be all wrapped up. Bernie keeps it tight.
Great idea with the T-shirt selling too.

So, B-mains are only going to be 7min too?
I thought maybe it would be 30min A-main, 15min B-main, and the rest 7min?
Either way it sounds like fun, Ive never been to a big 3 day race before
