wheels I am assuming you mean tires????

It sounds like you are new to 1/8th scale, I would stock up on a variety of diff fluids, I would get 1K-7K, just so you have some adjustability and a whole assortment of shock oils, maybe 30wt-60wt.

As you will learn with scale a drop or add in shock or diff fluids will completely change how the buggy feels.
A friend will help you move, but a REAL friend will help you move a body.

X-ray manual. Look at the last couple of pages

If the page doesnt load for you, refresh it and a download menu should open.

o.k guys im about 75% done with this sp2 and im looking into a very fast engine the guy at my hobby store said the o.s .21vzb engine what do you guys think please let me know also i was thinking about this jammin pipe that pretty nice it has a reinforced exhaust tip

if u want a fast engine look no further than the OS vspec with a 2050 pipe. Fastest most reliable motor around, 12 minute runtimes at LH

But since u are very new to this, i would go with an OS rg with the same pipe. The 2050 pipe will last u prolly the longest out of anything else.

slow is fast

The VZB (V-Spec) Is a very nice motor. A lot of guys run them at LH and have had great luck with them. (I have the non v-spec VZB and have been happy with it as well.) I know taht Sonny is running an EB modded Novarossi P5 in his buggy so maybe check that route out as well. It is going to be more expensive and possibly give you a little more punch. IMO the V-Spec is more than enough though.

The Jammin pipes are supposed to be very nice as well. I think the consensus is to run the JP-1 inside for torque and the JP-2 outside for top end.

And Trust Czech over me... He runs VERY competative in the A-main almost every weekend.

lol dan

The reason i recommend the 2050 pipe is because they are designed specifically to give u the most power out of any OS motor

Dan i think sonny may be goin the Vspec route very soon

Yeah I have heard nothing but great things about the 2050 pipe. I think that Gabe just sold his for $50 actually. That would have been a steal of a deal. They are supposed to be damn tough too. (And I wouldn't be surprised to see Sonny go V-Spec. And out of curiosity does anyone mod the V-Spec??)

ok ill probably go with ths o.s vspec, but there was also this other pipe it was carbon fiber really , really light compared to the jammin but i think ill bend that one up i think it was made by vantage or somthing like that im not sure im looking for speed though and the jammin seemed really heavy ive raced plenty of gt's back in the day as well as on road just not this 1/8 buggy. but it looks so nice when i putting it together the thing feels like its gonna weigh a ton when the engine and pipe are on it.

They are a bit heavy but the 2050 will give you more power over the vantage.

the 2050 is that a novarosi pipe ?

It's an OS pipe.

its a bit pricey, buggies are generally pretty heavy 8-8.5 lbs

u can get the JP mod vspec for about 500$ and eb mods does vspecs a well

also i have a m8 but i feel its outdated what should i get as far radio, do people have a lot of frequency problems at leisure?
Reply

I would get the Spektrum module for the M8.

Spektrum Module for M8

A lot of people have spektrum now so if you don't switch over there probably won't be any frequency problems. I like spektrum becuase you are worry free and you can turn your radio on in the pits to make adjustments.
