which is better?

depends on your driving style as to what rims to get. A stretched revo with offset wheels actually works fairly well. You can carry more speed through turns with a wider offset. Standard offset slices through the turns and you can push the offsets a little harder and slide.

Your Revo is the longer version, correct? A little wider track width (not wheelbase) might work fine, depending on a whole lot of outher factors involving suspension, tires, track conditions, etc...
Lots of guys use the zero offset velo's and you could prolly "try before you buy" if you ask someone nicely! You might find the setup you like best during a loaner session, and avoid a costly mistake on wheels.

Instead of velocities, you could use the racer's edge white dish wheels. They are 1/2 the cost and just as durable IMO.

Tune, you mean Dynamite? Cause I saw your wheels and they were the same as mine and mine are dynamite. They are $13 for 4 rims.

Yeah, I used those when I was running 14mm rims.

Prolly means they ran out. When I got mine it was the only set they had in stock (this was like 2 months ago). Maybe their hot sellers and hard to keep in stock?

I found that when i ran MT i actully had alot more steering coming out of a turn with the wide maxx style wheels...
For my style i much prefered this... I could dive hard into a corner and still hold a rather tight line. When switched to standard offset i noticed a big loss in cornering out of the turn and very little to no gain in turn-in...
I realize i had a fat sloppy savage but it was heavily modded for racing...
Just my .02 hope ive helped alittle.
Thanks
Dont mess wit my sig Line tune!

Yeah tex, you are correct. It was the dynamite wheels. Here's a link to them on amain. Much better deal than the prolines.
