Playing the odds.....

squirrel Wrote:Sneaky petes are the same as a regular kit. You just hide the selonoids and the lines and the bottle. I know you Dan, so be careful with that, you get caught using it in a street race thats supposed to be all motor we'll be hearing about on the news!

Hahaha.... aint that the truth. I won't run nitrous on the GTI. If I had a real drag car I would be straight up about things like that. If you know anything about cars you can hear when they spray. This kid sprayed on an all motor race and was almost beat down. He has been hiding for a few weeks now. LoL Most have a "you spray you pay" rule. I like the "run what ya brung" races though. I will have a competative car sometime.....

squirrel Wrote:No matter what though you want that extra fuel! Nitrous being an oxygenator will run you motor lean! I honestly don't know if it has a fuel line too, if it doesn't I would reccomend putting the nozzle BEFORE your mass air-flow sensor. tht way your motor will automatically add fuel.

Yeah.... that I knew. I just didn't realize that the solenoids and such were inside the bottle on a sneaky pete kit. Remember..... tiny little wimpy import motor right now. LoL If I were to run even a small shot on my car it needs to be a wet shot. Runnin it in before the MAF would help flow more fuel (if my injectors even could. LoL) but it would probably mix unevely in the cylinders and cause for differences in pressure. Not good for motor......

If you spray 1 nozzle before the Maf it shouldn't create a difference in pressure. It should be evenly distributed through your intake, otherwise you would constantly have a difference in pressure during normal opperation.

I have heard lots of people say that there is problems with it mixing in through the air all the way..... Like I said, just here say. I have never run a kit that way and only have a bit of first hand experience with wet kits.

LMAO. In theory I should having a slow car and all..... but I don't. I like seeing heads up, as your car was made to run. I don't car if it's a BB vs SB, turbo, nitrous, supercharger, whatever. Run what you brought and hope you brought enough. I don't mind seeing a few lengths given though if it is fair. (1-3 cars and negotiate on the hit. I hate hearing, give me 9, the hit, and a blowjob.)
