I seen that he joined where it says newest member. I think this site has got a lot of new members because of LHR.

They were saying all weekend that they dont have a track anymore up there. Kinda tells me that LHR is becoming a major attraction for the area(if not Midwest) if we have guys coming from two states away to race.
Just goes to show. Good track+good people= Star attraction

I have a set of ofna's and a set from the savage X(17mm hex with large flange nuts) I broke 2 stud axles during the classic weekend with the HPI 17mm set up. And I didnt feel like running the ofna 17's. They work fine, but I just never did like those little grub(or set)screws holding in a pin.
Bobbo said for me to get a set of maximizer 17mm adapters. They have a 17mm hex and a large washer. Just use the stock nut to hold it all on. I like my Dace 23's. Only downside is,if I stay and try to run my truggy(which I should). I would rather have one size for both trucks. Saves money that way because they are both the same hex. As to which one I plan to use? I still have yet to decide. I already have a few sets in 23mm. So I would have to buy all of them over again to work with 17mm. I am leaning more towards 23mm for the truggy. Just not sure when I will get around to that if I do.

You can always just boil/bake/cut the tires off the rims.

Honestly,I am getting tired of that already lol. I know I can do that. And chances are,I might go that route. But then again. Having those sets on hand is a plus for acouple of reasons. If something happens and I have to go from 17-23 again. I have those rims/tires ready. Or if someone is running that size. I can save the day for them. Down side to having both is. Twice the amount of tires to carry around. And twice the price.
