I'd pick up the 17 mm setup from Maximizer, probably the cheapest/lightest 17mm setup for a revo.

The ofna adapters are for the tmaxx if I remember right, but you can use them on the revo. With the ofna, you just put the pin in and then screw in the set screw(use thread lock, was told to put some shoe goo on them also to help them stay in),slap on the tires and tighten down the nut and thats it.
Tower is where I got mine and they only come in blue. Oh,and there is a small offset to them. I would have to say it is only a few mm's so it is not that big of a deal. But rims will not cover up that set screw which is why you should put some thread lock and shoe goo on it. As for the maximizers, use the alum. adapters and not the plastic ones.

The Ofnas have a huge offset difference IMO. I would go with Maxximizers or something specific to Revos.

I have yet to see many 17mm adapters for the revo besides the maximizers and Ofna's. I have seen a couple of other sites that have their own idea that look like the maxmizers adapters.
https://www.m2cracing.com/categoryNaviga...tegoryId=2 This is one of the newest I have found as of late. No use of a pin with these. But you need to buy their axles in order for it to work. So I am tossing this one around in my head for now.

I use stock axles, plastic hexes, and all since I've owned my revo. Never had any problems at all, never stripped or broke anything.
why upgrade at all? cool factor? more stuff to go wrong IMO.

CRT wheels all the way. I ran those 17mm crt rims and it was dialed for my taste.

I'm with tex, I ran all stock driveshafts and hexs too.

So who's doing this race again? Think I may have to take Tex's place in MT and try out my Revo. Still gonna have to run buggy since the Jammin is so hooked....

Why did you sell it then? Run both? Or just semi-retire the Revo like I plan to do. Only run it at big races or if a decent number of people show up to make a MT class.

cause I need money to buy a second class and I have zero money without selling stuff. I'm a one RC at a time guy, I've been there and done that racing two classes and for me it's too much maintenance/money.
I wouldn't have a GT if I didn't sell my revo. I've soley raced the revo for 2 years, I need a change. I'm glad I sold the revo, but I do miss it (if that makes sense) In case you haven't gotten the hint yet I'M POOR ....hahahaha

I'm in the same boat as you Tex, one at a time or it's too expensive. I miss the revo too! haha they're fun, a year or so from now ask someone to drive one, it brings back memories lol.

Hard to let go of the revo but it had to be done basicly?
I can understand all of that(letting go and money).

Those were the days..... 20 bucks would last all weekend. 2 in gas, 1.50 for smokes. 5 for nickel bag from the local pusher, 1.50 for movie and the rest you'd spend on candy to help the cotton mouth.
