jsut get a cheap duratrax temp gun for like $25, it works great for me

I dont think theyre way off, the exergen is the only gun that is like 30-40 degrees different than mine, I have compared the raytek and the hpi one to the duratrax one and they were all withing the same 15 degree range, but the exergen was like 30-40 degrees different.

i dunno it doesnt really matter though, as long as my motor is running with a good tune and plenty of smoke it dont matter.

thursday night it said the RB was running 275-280 and it had plenty of smoek and the tune was great

so then on an exergen it woulda ben at 310-320 thats a big difference

no on the exergen it would have been like 245-250,.....the exergen said it was kooler than the duratrax

Check out that new stopwatch/temp gauge by O'Donnel. It's only $40 at Tower and Sonny said it's about as accurate as the Exergen.

The "big daddy" has a stone filter in ut and it WILL give you tuning nightmares!
