just saying that because last time i was there i spent half my time on my top.
and the engine suddenly changed tune right before the main(ran fine all three qualifiers)

Rocco I am seeing a need for a comeback. The newbies in the SMT class are getting cocky. LoL I know it makes me want to buy a Revo. Seems to be the only thing I could drive. LoL (Or go back to UMT. That was a badass class.)

I'm just saying that in your first or second time on the track you won't beat Bobbo unless he has some sort of catastrophic failure.

Broke his servo saver or something like that. He lost steering. It was during one of his HUGE screwing around jumps I believe. He was pretty far ahead.

Bobbo is nuts with that truck. I am glad when he doesnt race it in the MT class. I think that would kind cool and fun. Everyone pickup or pull out their MT's and just run them. No fears of losing or winning. Just run to have fun. Nothing serious or whatever. Dont go and drop a boat load of money into them. That is what your other truck and/or buggy is for.
I could go for something like that.

Just like we have money in our truggy's and buggy's. But that post was more for those who dont have their MT's anymore like myself.
I know I will buy one in the spring/summer so I can bash with my son and his pede and race with him once he gets to that point. But if I wanted to toss on the bowties and run with those who still have their trucks and basicly run for fun. None of this 'you hack' crap. I think that could be entertaining. But respect would be shown to those who already race in that class of course.

Honestly.... I would drive a box stock revo right now. Maybe do steering mods and FOC. That is really all it needs. P2 rockers are a nice bonus.

I think I would all of that stuff before tires though. For stockers the Revo tires aren't terrible....

Hahaha.... tell him how you REALLY feel.  Seriously though.... there is NO WAY in your first or second time on the track you could hold a candle to Bobbo on the track. I bet you could keep it on the wheels the entire race and he could lap you a time or two fairly easily.

Stock Revo,tires(already have 40's w/ bowties) single servo steering and FOC and that would be about it. Cheap and fun is the point.
I know some might say that there is no point. Just go bash with it. But to me,I would rather race with others then bash my trucks. So I know if people started to pull out or get MT's just to have fun and relax. Something different then the 'clean' and 'serious' racing we have in the other classes. I would have to take part in that too cause IMO,that is what this should all be.

ur right but my truck is still sick. runnin p3 rockers, p3 pushrod, os 18tm, orange and gold springs, and boa clays.
my brothers truck is runnin p1 rockers, stock pushrods,trx2.5r,orange and gold springs, and lsp tires

No need IMO. Why drop all that coin into the other truck if it doesn't NEED it. Yeah... each little thing will help a little bit more, but not all are necessary. Tune did everything because he was racing on such a level where every little mod was noticed. Just starting out do the steering mods, P2 or P3 setup, FOC, and tires. Then you can do other little things like getting rid of the radio box, etc. The 2.5 or 3.3 are plenty of motor. Race it until you NEED more modifications.
