Mike... it was screwing around that was continued from the track. I was asked to stop, and did. So you have one instance on me. Every time Bruce says something you guys get into it and more people jump onto your side. Like I said.... they are only opinions and do not need to go as far as they always do. Comments from Tex like... "at it again huh Bruce" don't help either. If you have a problem with it argue it logically. Don't go throwing immature little stabs at each other....

Wow...my thread got hijacked and it turned Ugly as hell. Be nice guys....Daaaamn.
So anyway...Somebody offered me a trade for a revo...should I do it? Dunno if I can handle that much horse power as a novice. I'd be bouncing off everyone and everything on the track.

The Revo is actually a great first nitro I would say. I personally owned and raced one. Do you have any more information on the one that you were offered? If it is in good shape I would say that it is a great deal for your electric, mainly because of the age of yours. The stock monster truck class is also one that a lot of people start out in. With a little more info on the Revo we would be able to say good deal or not for sure.

I don't have any more info yet...I had posted the rc10t2 on craigslist a few days ago and just got a reply. I am waiting to hear back from him. As soon as I have more info I'll let you all know.

Allright. If you can.... try to see it in person to check the condition. Craigs List is full of a lot of honest people, but some scammers as well. You would hate to lose a great vehicle for a dud.

Definitely... though you are more likely to find a trade on there which could be beneficial. Either way I think I would rather have the security aspect and sell it on ebay, and then spend a little bit on top of that to buy a truck that you know is quality off of someone on here. Just my $.02

I am keeping all options open. I will be visiting Als hobby shop this afternoon just to check things out and give my self a better idea of what I really want. I don't want to jump into it spending all this money and then realize a week later I want a different vehicle.

And...providing the craigslist deal does go through, ( I am not counting on it, rarely do people actually follow through on there) It may be my best best even if the truck needs some TLC.

Ok I just talked to the guy on Craigslist. Apparently its the revo 2.5 with the shorter wheel base. Apparently he's got a few engines available too...the 2.5, a 3.3 and a couple OS motors as well. I am going to check them out tomorrow. If all goes well I might be racing Sunday!!!
Also I was at LaGrange Hobbies today. The only 1/8 buggy they had was the new Rage. They hadn't even stocked it in yet. Is anyone running one of these at LHR? Is it a decent rig or junk?

I haven't even heard of it. Most people are racing Losi 8IGHTS, Kyosho's, Mugens, Ofna Jammins and then a couple with TTRs or XRAY's.

yeah LaGrange Hobbies is more for trains and other stuff, not RC.
