Not for racing. I thought I could make it work.... but I was wrong. It was completely hopped up, and not raceable.

Czech do you agree with me that if he wants something cheaper than this then look for an older Kyosho like a K3 or something?? I know that this is the best option, but he wants something else. Duratrash is not the answer, and neither is a hyper 7.

Hoobajoob Wrote:Ok think about this.... a guy goes from nothing but monster trucks to a buggy. Its a whole differnt beast. To start out $500 in the hole on a buggy is nuts.Thats the same thing as comaparing this to a newbie on a motorcycle, you dont go out and buy a hyabusa till you get the feel for a smaller cheaper bike first and learn the mechanics of it.What im getting at is you start out with something cheap to begin with and when you outgrow the ability of that vehicle you up grade.THIS is what im looking for, something cheap to begin with . Im not looking to race professional just the occasional weekend event or two to get my "feet" under me. Even if that means taking all day to finish so be it! and please i dont want to hear about the slowsi eight. Idont want to buy roccos buggy and have it trashed cause of inexperiance,
OK, I understand your thinking from experience.... But please take my advice....
By buying the duratash you may save a few bucks in the begining. But I promise you will end up losing more money in the long run...
Example one: You buy duratrash and abosultely hate 1/8th scale... DO you hate it because the buggy sucks? You will never know? You hate it and want to sell it you get maybe 100-150 for it... $200 loss
Example 2: You buy dura and love 1/8th and want to get better so you buy another buggy. You are out the price of the dura and then whatever else you buy.
Example 3: buy roccos. hate 1/8 th scale, sell it for alomost what you paid for it.. MAybe $30-50 loss if that
Example 4: buy roccos and love it. You have a contender racing buggy and a ton opf spares. WIn win suituation
Also some things to think about, the Jammin will hold up better to your entry level driving better than the dura. The jammin will also make it easier to learn on since it more driveable... You are at the track and brake a part, no one runs duratrash you are done.... Roccos you have a ton of spares and many drivers run jammin so your chances of getting a spare is much easier...
A friend will help you move, but a REAL friend will help you move a body.

Rocco that is a nice buggy I just am unsure of the whole buggy scene as being something for me. If I was completely sure I would jump on it for sure man.
