The bidding is at about $200 already. I bet it will hit $300.... at that point I would rather buy local with more upgrades and have to track down a starter box.

do i have to have a starter box for a buggy?

Not if you run a pullstart or rotostart motor. Most people run a starter box though and a bumpstart only motor. Nothing says you have to though.
01-31-2007, 12:05 AM
no u can go the p/s or roto start route

whats the advatages and disadvantages of the starter box?

Disadvantage: You have to have the box to start the buggy.
Advantage: More efficient running motor. No one way bearings in the pullstart to go bad.

and no roto starter to go bad lol

Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:and no roto starter to go bad lol Or get wedged into the little port on the motor. (Can't count the time I have seen people have that happen.) Isn't it easier to snap chit inside motor if it hydrolocks?:confused:

FreeRideFrosty Wrote:That reserve seems a little high..... I found the Sportwerks Turmoil RTR listed in Horizon hobby for $549.00!!!! So does 350 used still seem high? If all you want is a capable, potentially competative ride to try your hand in racing, then I would not want to spend much more than that.

if you get a buggy with no motor i recomend the O.S. .21VG its got a lot of bang for the buck IMO. LH has the pull and the non pull start motors.
pull=149.99 non=139.99

Hooba joob, I can get the dudes email if your interested in the kanai 2. To be honest though, with the parts it comes with and how new it is, Roccos is still a better deal at $300. Just being honest, I want you to get the best deal.
