Project Darth Revo has begun...
#76
Revo update,

My revo's current updated setup...

JR synthesized radio gear.
Completely removed the ez-start stuff and all associated wiring. Now using an RD Racing starter box.
Removed rear bumper.
Panther Python's w/ hurricane wheels. (Newest change to the project)
Everything else stock, including suspension setup.
Official weight is 9lbs 8oz. (Those new tires are heavy!)

Stay tuned...

Yay? lol. Mine was a little less than 7.5lbs if I remember right. Get the tekno rc throttle mount, cut down the radio box (if you feel comfortable doing so), get the PL single steering arm, some other things I can't remember.

Mabye I didn't remember right then, but didn't yours have a BB on it too? That would weigh a little bit more, but I doubt a pound. So I was probably around 8.5.

Don't tell him to mess with that Revo. It is perfect already. Don't need to have him breaking it now.... Haha. J/K

leave mr.tunes old revo alone, it's already dialed. no need to drop more cash.

bobbo's revo wasn't even 7.5lbs, it was like 7.8 if I remember right. That was definitely the lightest revo I've ever seen/weighed.

I think he was hoping that this thread died. It's depressing when someone wants to change motors and the whole setup of a perfectly setup race truck. :-\

Is this a question for me? If so, nothing was cut on the receiver box.

I cut just about everything off the radio box. Actually for a while in the end I didn't have a radio box. I had the xtreme rc carbon fiber mount.
