Ok, first off glad to see this site is still thriving and all are having fun. I know alot of you cats are really knowledgable about these truggies so I figured I'd get your opinions on my RTR options. I am thinking of getting back into the hobby just as a basher, maybe race for fun but probably not. I plan on ditching my onroad stable and going back to off-road. So here are the trucks I am considering. Please tell what you guys think, pro-con, bang for buck, durability all that stuff. The prices are from A-main, if you know of better for any of these let me know. These are in no order either. Any others not on this list that I should consider?
#1 CEN Racing Matrix TR Arena Ready-to-Run Truggy $429.99
#2 Kyosho Inferno ST US Sports Ready Set Truggy $369.99
#3 Team Losi Muggy 4WD RTR Truck w/XR2i & 427 Engine $489.99
#4 Sportwerks Mayhem ST 1/8 4WD Truck RTR with Spektrum DX2 Radio $469.99
#5 GS Racing Pro XUT Truggy - RTR $379.99
#6 Thunder Tiger ST-1 4WD RTR 1/8th Stadium Truck (w/ Free Roto Start Conversion!) $499.99
#7 Robitronic 1/8 Mantis Truggy RTR $449.99
Thanks for you Opinions.

Well I appreciate the recommendation of the TTR by you and CoG. But I can't seem to take my eyes of this damn Losi Muggy. I keep looking at it in the new RCCA. IDK, I gotta get rid of the onroads before I can do anything. Keep the recommendations coming...

I'd like to see more on the CEN...
I'd stay away from the Muggy...
You'll catch way too much crap if you buy the TTR...

I dont know if a truggy is that good of a basher IMO. I need to get a basher to go out with my son this year, but no way in hell I am taking the mugen out. So I plan to get a revo for that and I will race that part time also.
But if your bent on a truggy. I owned a ST-1 for a short period and that thing does look and feel like its built like a tank. So you cant really go wrong with that. But ORC is right, you will get flamed pretty hard here from the likes of rocco. But then again,we just toss him a treat and he goes back into a cage.
Anyway,I dont think the Cen would be a good truck for it. I saw one last weekend and the guy was looking to unload it. It does look like a decent truck. But trucks like that,mugen,8-T. I dont think they would do well as a basher. You can try the muggy or the ST-1. But if you plan to drop it on the track,ST-1 might be better over the muggy.

I would vote TTR. None of the RTR's (as far as I have seen) impressed me at all. I know Mike has changed VERY little on his truck.

I forget the mag. But they said that it might be the best RTR out there. The St-1 that is.
