Im in the market for a new buggy. Ive been looking forward to having a new mugen cause I think the truggy is kickass and hoped the buggy would be too. But Ive been offered a Losi Kit for 400 NewInBox and I start questioning how good could that Mugen be for 200 more...Help me decide. I think im going 8
Slim, you just ran both. Whats your take???

I'd say 8ight, you were doing quite well with Matt's (thrash) at the pizza party was it?
But then again, it could just be because I have one.
The only thing I don't like so far is the driveshaft wear, after about 2.5 gallons, my front center one needs replacing. The pin is about 1/2 of what it used to be.

Did i suggest anything???
all i said was that guys that are well known in the industry picked the mugen HANDS DOWN.
I think theyre opinon carries more weight than a 16 y.o. garbage can jumper...

Well from what I saw when slim was driving Chads mugen. That thing was hooked up and he drove it well. He did sound like a mugen could be his next buggy

Rocco, Im sure the Mugen IS the best buggy out . Whats killing me is the $200 price diffrence. Which way would you go if it was your cash???

They said in the review the quality of the upgrades on the "R" are worth far more than the 200 dollar price tag....
... And look when chad hit the wall... He broke his motor he hit so hard! But nothing more than plastic broke on the truck and if i remember corectly he raced his next heat and the main!
Look what the truck 5-T did for you kevin?!?!? Its alittle hard to agrue with those results! Im sure you will have similar positive results with the buggy the truck is based on!
I guess Ive just had my fill of the losi on-slaught too ...

I love the losi......i used to be in the last 2 mains (E-F main)....got the losi had a little practice and now im running the B-C mains. I love the buggy, its great to have a ton of people who also have it, that way your prolly guarenteed to get a part. im sure the mugen's great to, but if you can get it for $400 I say go with that, the extra 200 could be used on great servos and a receiver pack. Losi gets my vote

the mugen is hands down a better built and lasting car.......just think that 200 you save on that losi will only get you 2 extra servos.....gonna need more than that.
