For me it was the first time out in TOO long and was happy to be out with friends having Fun. Remember "fun", the reason we all head out in the morning.
The only person I was truly gunning for was my bud Chad and I think too much time in the sun hurt his driving. :wavey: Hey, I chink i no u....LOL
I chink I know what was wrong with my drivin too.... I had a blast sunday just chillin.

Last night was not a good night,so seeing that only added fuel to the fire.
I did think it was BS for the boo's. But screw'em. But it was fun racing you kevin. That truck couldnt turn inside hard enough because you left that window open a few times. I would say sad how it tunred out,but seeing you still won....it ended good for those who were pulling for you.
Glitchers has a small pit area. Basicly the same as lincoln for those who were there if not a touch smaller. For those who have not been to glitchers. There isnt much room to move around in the pit area to start with. And same for the table behind the pit. Last time I was there, only one side was up,other side must have broke or something.
Same for the drivers stand, just like lincoln and Ohio. So I would expect 10 truck heats and mains for this race. Nice thing about this track is there are no spots where you loose your truck because of a tube or tall grass. Good view all the way around.
Setting up tents could be a pain for those who want power. The areas with the most room for tents and parking are on the other side of the track while all the power is on the drivers side. There are outlets on both sides of the drivers stand but I dont remember how many. The shop is basicly like the shop here,so parts could be hard to come by.

I would hope they do it that way. They have the same size drivers stand as DC does in ohio.
Everytime I have been there for a race, hardly anyone showed up.

SUP JT!
well, 4 minutes inbetween every qual will really slo things down, so when you have 1 light tower for the whole track it makes it a little hard to see also, so at the start of the A main they decide to water....so that hooked us up....untill after the end of the INT 1/8 A main when the cops came and said it was time for ni-night....too loud, so the expert A just finished as they qualed.
as for me...... i qualed 6th in truggy and ran a real good race, my truck was PERFECT, ran in sixth the whole race i think just 2 laps behind leaders untill with 1 minute left i lost clutch bearing and flammed out, finished 7th. In buggy .....I choked....qualed 2nd, led the first almost 20 minutes of the race, but was taking it a little cautous and got caught, then tried pushing too hard and ended up getting third. After driving for 30 minutes in truggy then staying up on the stand for buggy by the time i needed to push it i was just palin beat! LOL an hour straight was brutal. LOL

Yeah, one light stand for the track. Others were turning their lights around to help, but with no wind to blow away the dust. It was a thick fog hanging over the track.
The dust was so bad. The corner at the end of the back straight turned into a parking lot. There were 6 cars that were there either just sitting because they couldnt see the buggy or where they were going. Or they ran themself into a tube. The marshalls werent doing anything because other buggies were still flying into the corner praying they wouldnt hit anything. The marshalls werent smart all day long. Example: I saw many times,a marshall over turn or pull a buggy or truck off a tube just to set him down the wrong way. Or to push him into another tube, and I dont mean it drove into it. I mean the guys grabbed the wing, turned the truck around and PUSHED it into the wall. Overall,it was just a very crappy day and I know many are pissed off not just because of the watering issue, but with the whole race overall.

You could hear the voice on the computer call out 4 minutes....3 minutes...then sometime between 2:30 and 2 minutes, she said to fire them up. Or other guys would just do it themself. Chad went out there way early and she jumped all over him.

I dont blame you.
I believe Peoria will be better next month. I dont see those guys allowing the race to get out of hand like it did yesterday.

no doubt...I did shitty also my engine in my trugy was on its way out, and first qual. I had a spek reciever take a poo before going to the line so I threw in my extra one and forgot to plug in my transponder ..then the 2nd qual for truggy my plug was bad...thrid my clutch bell bearings took a shit..so needless to say I qual last for truggy during the "d" main i took second because I was in 3rd and 2nd flamed out right before the finish..so I got lucky! my engine was going out had NO bottom end once it got to operating temps, then in the c main I engine seized like 3 or 4 mins into it LOL bastard!
int buggy couldnt get it to run right for 1st qual. so put in a spare VG for the 2nd didnt do bad and had a tie rod end break..3rd qual did alright started 2 in the c main and worked my way to 1st and held that by damn near a lap so bumped to the b-main and as stated prior it was a cluster fuck and I was blurping my throttle to keep it running as I lost it and after a min never seen it come out I ran down their to see wtf was going on and the corner marshall shut it off?!?! so had to get my pit guy to restart it and made up a lap but finished 7 I think which pisses me off because I drive my best during mains and know I could have done better oh well thats racing in the dark lol I am sick of driving 2-3 hrs for these races and not leaving the track till 12-1 becuase ppl. dont know how to run shit smoother.
