RC Pro Series in Dallas 8/27 & 8/28
#1
Anyone else interested in going to the Pro Series race in Dallas (Euless), TX on 8/27 & 28? http://www.rcproseries.com/divisions/central/ It's only a $15 cab ride from the airport. Hotels are $49/night. Round trip on ATA is $216.

The track is http://www.johnnycoolguy.com

My buddy who owns http://www.rushrc.com will be hanging out with us and surely having a BBQ at his house (which has a pool!!) They also have like 5 tracks around there to check out. And they're about 30 mins away from each other. Maybe after qualifying on Sat. we can go to another track.

It's about a $425 weekend max.

Im probly not going to that. When you race outside your division your points dont count, its just racing really good people at that point. Still fun and all but who knows. Thats just a lot of money just to race for a day. Saturday doesnt count cuz its only 5 minute qualifiers so your sitting around 90% of the day just waiting.

You're right. I'm wanting to go so I can race against other racers to see how good they really are and to visit a friend. It's nice to be able to get out of town sometimes.

I would love to go and race steve slaydens revo but im sure for every lap i do he probly does 1 more. That would definatly be a blast to race with all those kinda guys tho.

Mich, that's exactly why I want to go. I'm not the type to be satisfied being a big fish in a little pond (and we all know I am definately not!!! LOL!!!). I just want to see where the bar is set.

Technologically, I'm confident that my truck is right there with the best of them. I know I don't have the track time or experience but I'd just like to see where I'm at against the best in the world. I'd like to see what they do and learn from that, bring it back here and maybe finally win a few races. I'm tired of qualifying second and then finishing fourth.

Besides, it'll be fun. My buddy Bruce (yeah, 2 Bruce's) is really cool. So anyone else who wants to go get beat up by the pros just let me know.

If you guys need more time to raise funds the Monster Truck Nationals are at the came place Sept. 24/25 and I'm going to that also. It's only $206 round trip. That's doable.
