I like the Cheeky Humor. I've gotten some of the best info from Rocco or Cheqcecqwcuqzeueffaca. I mean mike. Honestly, I think Im just going to throw my 2 cents in. I come here because I look for stuff to buy (Guilty, only reason I came on) Then I use it as a resource for help etc. I read the Random Offtopic stuff, I read about how meatwad blew up his moms car, Ponch can't drive, (I mean seriously who backs into a pole) etc etc etc. Alot of good stuff has happened. If you don't like it. Don't come here. That's the bottom line. Don't just sit here and bitch about how you don't like it, Ignore it, Or don't come here. Of the cheeky comments, there are about 20 posts after that bitching about them. If you ask me thats more annoying than the comment itself. which was humorous.
If you don't like it, Ignore it, Or don't come here. Plain and Simple I guess.

You dont want inside info like that either. The key word here is CHITOWNrc. This is not a nationally listed forum, its great for the locals that know each other or meet each other where ever. ALmost everyone here knows one another personally or met before. You dont need Pros to attract people either, this is not a racer forum, thank G.
What opportunity is being missed? Money intake? Please, we have egay on here already. Sorry Tune, i dont have those hook-ups with the sponsors, i know how you greeks are with making money.

Well then I guess since there's only a few guys talking here to themselves with inside jokes then Tune needs to charge you guys. It's pretty obvious that's what it's going to come down to. Why should he pay for 15-20 goofballs to post stupid BS all day?

Dude..IDK who the heck you are....But if you got a problem with how this site is and how tune pays for it, you can either A-get out....or B-Slap some cash in Tune's hand and give yourself a pat on the back....
There's not really many "inside jokes'' and I'm sure if we got them yeah they might be funny but it's not that big of a deal...That's what this forum is for, stress relieving fun. We all come here to bs, have fun, and talk about what we're gonna be doing soon and what is up and coming at the track.

To sum it up.... I got tired of the childish BS. Like I said.... I was a part of a while back, got banned, learned my lesson. I think it would help to see some more bannings actually. If you can IP ban people to keep them from making multiple names that would be even better. If they really want to be here to contribute, they will come back. If not, no loss IMO.

thats the problem, thats why he has seen a decrease in activity and why he is trying to sort it out. people have stopped coming here.

I didn't read through all the pages, but for me, it just takes up to much time and money to keep up with the hobby. It's been a few months since I have raced, but I still visit to put my .02 in where I can.
As far as driving people away, I think there was a lot of BS from the younger posters that drove a lot of people away and as firesprink posted, most of the people on here are racers and they don't seem to give the bashers the attention when they ask for help.

I care because I genuinely feel that this site is detrimental to the growth of RC in this region. That's my honest opinion. You are free to disagree but please try to do it without personal attacks or assumptions.

This site was never built to make money, it was never built with the intent of national exposure and reach, or become a one stop shop for info for everyone. It was intended to help bring together people with similar interests (rc) who lived in the chicago area. It has done it's job well IMO, and many will agree with me.
For a site that started out with just a few guys looking to meet up with others and have fun running our stuff, it sure has come a long way. While it has gotten quite big and suffered from growning pains, that doesn't mean I should just pull the plug. I'll make the changes to help steer the place in the right direction and get over those hurdles, simple as that.

You attacked Mike and Rocco and assumed they are the reason for the attendance. You care but you also stated to just shut it down, Mr big time RC manager or whatever. I didnt personally attack you either, but you have already on these two guys.
Your a so-called RC sales manager for one of the largest RC companies in the US, then act like one. You named off LOSI pros earlier, then i would assume your from Horizon correct?
