in hopes to keep this thread alive, and this goes directly to Tune, from a guy who used to check this sight on a dayly basis and now does it once in a while.

This thread is the most inportant one ever on your sight. I just sat here reading it from start to finnish cuz Bruce informed me of it. Yes the place is a madhouse run by the inmates! if you were to have someone out side read this one thread you would then get the ansewer to get more people back. it is right here in the past 6 pages.
you have all of the insults
you have lack of help to others
you have the racers who think they are better than others
you have the bashers looking for a place to participate
you have the "friends" who pat each other on the back

these are just a few i see

I would sajest FIRE the mod's and hire ones that are not friends with everone so they could be impartial to everyone. then they could keep the BS in the none RC threads and the people looking for help could actualy get it without being targeted for a personal group laugh.

I've been trying my best to read as many threads these last few weeks, and I must say it seems (at least to me) that it has gotten alot better from the crap we had months ago. Many of the trouble makers have been banned too (23 members in the ban list).

It's alot cleaner now that it was in the past. This thread appeared to have helped with some of the problem without me making any changes yet.

I agree with that there too! I'm one caught between the fences of racin and bashin mash: I've raced on and off for years and bashed in them there years too! Like what was said in this thread, racin forum/ bashing forum. There should be either sub-forums in each for racin help and bashin help, and on n on! I'd like to help in any way I can if ya'll need help policen the forums at all, heck i'm most likely older than most here! LMK Tune, i'd be glad to help, i'm on here every night and day cause I like it here and have made tons of new friends here in a lot of different people!

Tune you asked for input...here it is...Constructively and I am not concerned with if it ticks somebody off. This stuff does cause a decline in visits and new members.
I was hangin around in here for a while but it got way out of control IMO.
I have found it less than desirable to even post anymore---hijacking, Name calling, Arguing, favoritism, ppl have difficulty even posting an opinion without crap coming down on them, etc, etc... and it goes on. Some of this is worse than others.
Tune I had mentioned this sort of thing way back when I first joined.
The TOS you had then was contradicting to what was actually going on in the threads.
One topic was Avatars that I had mentioned. I also had offered my help with experience in Modding.
This is the biggest issue you have that I see. It is Moderating.
Moderators who can be impartial and SET THE EXAMPLE at all times and that means at all times.
This has, was and still does lack with everyone and no one is innocent and perfect. There is a lot of childish bickering that goes on and there are Moderators who join in on it.
What takes me with it is how old some of the Moderators are and how they make themselves look when this is done. It reflects this site---they represent you.

I would like to suggest to determine what you want in a moderator and stick to it--they screw up too much then they should have the privilege of Modding removed. Modding is a Key element to running this site. I suggest persons of Semi-Mature age.
Have regular meetings with Mods on issues with the sites. Use the Mods for the info you need. Not you hunting and pecking and getting Pm's and E-mails.
Sort of like a chain of command just to have some sort of order.
If a person needs to be banned then Mods need to converse and make a united decision to make it fair for the person being banned and not one sided by a Moderator.
I also think that moderators need to remove posts that are out of order or if someone requests certain replied then it should be upheld. If a person has an opinion on an item for sale it should be removed due to it could impair that person from selling that item.
I really believe that if you carefully choose your Moderators and take it a bit more seriously this site will pick up. Start over with Moderators. It will take some time but upgrading a site is not going to help, it only makes it look good---it all lies with the persons who help you run this site.

On the other note. Yeah Racing and bashing IMO should be split up.
The idea of fixing up the 4sale, WTB-WTT is a good idea--it organizes the crapola and makes it simple to go and look for what you want.

I would like to make another note on the Site upgrades.
I really and others do not know who all the moderators are.
One suggestion is to put on top who moderates what part of the forums.
This way if someone has a complaint they know who to go to who deals with that part of the forum. Make moderators caretakers of certain sections of the site and not all of it. Break up responibility.
