Chitown R/C Marketplace!!
#1
[imgright]http://www.chitownrc.com/imagehosting/14671cb1cd7b38.jpg[/imgright]Finally got around to getting this done. Chitown R/C finally has it's own marketplace!

If anyone has any questions or spots any problems, let me know asap so I can get it fixed. Let's get the new system off to a good start everyone. No chit chat. Comments are soley for questions about the item being sold. Please don't cheat the system and start selling 10 different things in one thread unless you're selling it all at once as a lot. 1 ad = 1 item.

I have disabled new threads in the old classified forum, but you can still post in there so any pending deals can be finished.

It will be 5 credits ($0.20-$0.25 depending on which package you buy) for all the areas expect WTB and Trades. Those are free!

To kick it off, through september, ads will only be 1 credit. All members should have 3 credits ready to go, so no need to purchase any credits right now, go ahead and start creating ads!

Goto the marketplace. In the navigation area that has links for new ads, shows your credits and other stuff, you can click on credits and it takes you to the screen where you can buy more. It's all automated through paypal.

I can do it manually too for those without paypal. They can simply send me a check or money order.

Hahahaha!!! I like the setup actually. The $5 package should suit most for quite a while. Hopefully it brings in some revenue for the site.

Nope. It's a different system, it's simply integrated with the forums.

When you go into the marketplace though, it shows the 25 newest ads on the main page.
