when i got the 8-9 minutes i was running a line directly to the carb with no inline filter due to my crappy filters causing air leaks. i can only imagine my long routed fuel tube with my double filters

I got about 7-10 Minutes with a Werks .28, with JP-3. May have been longer, just didnt seem like it.
LSP lots of Khz, Werks .28 8 port.

Last friday I was out there for about 10m on my hotmod 528xr in my CRT. Had other issues but running out of gas wasn't one of them. alute:
For racing a .21 would be great, easier to drive and better on fuel in most cases.
If you learn to drive it, a .28 sized motor may give you faster lap times if you have traction but overal in a longer main the extra pit for fuel would lose the time you gained.
I'm a basher so I go for the most power possible in all cases.

a .28 is not needed, a stock vspec is fine, there is no need for a modded engine, modded ones are at times more tricky to tune, and the extra power is not necessary.
Like I said before, OS V spec or a Werks TLB7 is more than enough.
Most people here are expierenced racers and know their stuff.
If you go for the Hyper truggy make sure you keep some spare parts on hand, arms shock shafts, shock ends, diff parts, clutch parts, etc. Or just go with a Mugen and be happy.

How so is the Mugen overpriced? For what it is and the parts quality it's a fair price I'd say.

Yeah it's definately NOT overpriced. You get what you pay for in this hobby. What do we have to gain by suggesting a better (although more expensive) truck to you? Just trying to help you out because we know you will probably be more satisfied with the Mugen instead of the Ofna.

i'd say if you are going to go with an 'ofna' brand. Get the Jammin CRT. they should be coming out with an updated truggy, unless its out...thats probably your best bet, if your going with the 'ofna' types. If not, just get a Mugen. seems to be the sweetest truck at the moment.

Lol...Mugen is probably the best truggy out there, its not overpriced, its well designed and performs well. You can't deny the facts
as ponch said, you get what you pay for. but sometimes thats not necessarily true. but this is proven.
a Mugen Prospec Kit runs like what...a little under / over 600ish?
Thats not bad for a kit pro.

No man not at all, we are just trying to help you out. You could get a used Mugen for around $300. I don't think the Hyper ST Pro is bad I'm just saying that Hobao, to me anyway seemed to have poorer part quality. And don't worry in this hobby all but a few are willing to help you out, whether it be a part, or just pitting for you someone will almost always help you out.

Ok so... Here's what Ofna lists as their "upgraded" parts on the ST;
Front and Rear CNC Aluminium Shock Towers
Front and Rear CNC Aluminium Suspension Arm Mounts
Front and Rear CNC Aluminium Chassis Braces
Center CNC Aluminium Chassis Brace
Front CNC Steering Brace
Special Turnbuckles
Carbon Radio Tray
Polished Pipe Set
Big Bore Shocks
Center Spider Diff Special
And here's what the Mugen 5T prospec has "upgraded" on it;
B0104 Fuel Filter S
E0101 Front Upper Plate
E0102 Center Diff. Mount Plate
E0117 Titanium Rear Upper Arm
E0118 Rear Lower Arm Support
E0119 Front Lower Arm Support
E0123 Lower Arm Shaft
E0124 Rear Lower Arm Shaft S
E0125 Rear Lower Arm Mount
E0126 Al. Rear Upright
E0139 Al. Front Tension Rod
E0140 Al. Rear Tension Rod
E0301 Radio Plate
E0311 Servo Saver Plate 5mm
E0522 Front Damper Stay 5mm
E0523 Rear Damper Stay 5mm
E0703 One-Piece Engine Mount
E0818 Titanium Steering Rod 76 (φ4)
E0819 Titanium Turn Buckle Rod 47
So tell me again which has more upgraded CF/CNC'd parts?
Not being an ass. I just want you to make the best decision possible, as I know I have made horrible choices before when I did not want to listen to others here.
