Maybe 610-625 with enough haggling. If you wanted to throw in your own motor, electronics and tires, you could probally get close to 175-200 for those things.

what rims hex is it again? 17mm?
Sounds like a good truck. Maybe it'll be super strong like the savage maybe not...I wanna see one! I wanna drive one!!

I got this feeling (95% sure) that when I go to al's on tuesday, if they have one, I'm taking it home. If so, I'll have it with at the bash on the 28th to break in and at the track on the 29th to race.

Very nice. I will definitely check it out at the bash if you get it... (Damn I want to run Truggy... I will wait for a good deal on a LSP, Hellfire... something along those lines.)

Depends... If you are a good driver and the thing is tuned right you can still run well. If you are not a good driver you will be screwed. (The same for just about every class... just a little moreso since they are faster) Though I truely doubt it will challenge a podium spot though anything is possible. Just drive consistant lines, master the triple double, as well as how to get into the turns after the straight and you should be ok. You can run slower but if you don't crash still do well.
(I will be beginning my search for an LSP or something comparable now. If you guys have any connections let me know. Roller + motor is good as I will just run the MT and the truggy on different days. I can deal with the pain of swapping electronics for now...)

Got a call from rocco less than an hour ago. He was at hobby town in st. charles, and they have 2 in stock. I told them to hold 1 as I'm on the way. I just got home, nuked some left over pizze and ate real quick.
I'm off to go pick up my hellfire! I'll be back later with some pics .
01-23-2006, 06:45 PM
Damn Tune, first you beat everyone getting a 360 and now you get a Hellfire before any of us.

Dan if u are looking for a truggy take a look at the TTR ST-1, it comes as an RTR with a .28 motor, just put in ur own electronics and u are good to go. Ryan Maifield ran an RTR with a diff motor and his own electronics this weekend. All he did was go through all the screws to make sure they were all loctited and he was winning the A main by a lap before a ripped antenna wire knocked him out with 2 minutes to go. I will probably be getting one soon

Man I saw the TT ST1 in RCCA and it looks really nice besides the body and rims/tires. Some CF's or bowties and a good body and it'd be all good. Anybody know if there's a 23mm conversion for 17mms OTHER than the super extended PL ones?I think some bowties w/ 3 stg foams on std offset 23mm velo's would prolly hook up good....Or would the added width of the PL ones help out with handling? j/w....I kinda wanna go trug, but that's another b-day present lol....What bodies can be used on it? Most any right? I saw that it had no rear body posts other than the wing mt in the rear, do they offer reg body posts for the shock towers so we can run body and wing? Thanks....

He broke... (If I remember correctly) I had honestly forgot all about the TTR truggy. I jumped the gun a little though. I will be getting a new radio and making sure everything is set on my revo first. I am almost there though...

Is the droop adjustable on the LSP's? If so, where do you guys have it set?

It sucks being over here becuase i have to wait so long for parts lol im pretty sure i have the rear brakes for the revo all done, but im going to wait until i get the engine back and test everything together before i post any pics , i want to make sure it works ok

overyeoj Wrote:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...:BCB:MT:11 Very cool... Now a question... most of the new highly competative truggies (LSP, TTR truggy, hopefully the Hellfire...) do they run longer arms or do they use axle extenders like the link above and the GS storm?? I always thought it would mess with the steering a bit since it is steering around a point further back tha nthe inside of the wheel, as well as not being as strong...?? Any opinions??
01-26-2006, 03:09 PM
i think you are right, but i think they make extended arms for the mugen truggies now so thats something i will have to look into,
